Friends, I need prayers for my friend Ken - he's my 'second best friend of all' - the Princess being the first. He's been dealing with an undiagnosed health issue for several months. He has just gotten a presumptive diagnosis of ALS. I can think of little more terrifying. My heart hurts.

I like spiders if they are not the creepy kind . I raise some nice tarantulas in the past but I can't stand ticks of any kind . Old world tarantulas are quick to bite and have potent venom . New world are slow moving and the venom is less potent , they do not bite at wink of an eye .

Tarantulas ARE the creepy kind...
