The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Submersible aquarium heater.
Or the waterer Ron posted. 3 gallons and works to -20°F. That would be quite good. I've been using a heated dog water dish. It hasn't frozen yet. Well the FIRST one did, when the heating element apparently bit the dust.

And if you got said cow, she would probably expect YOU to milk it!

You are the one that posted Happy Birthday (twice). Do you know something we don't?

I've had good luck with a heated dog water dish too. Well, except the one I accidentally broke shoveling snow out of the run.
Luckily I do not have to worry about frozen chicken water fountains!

I do have to worry about the sun destroying plastic quickly though

Good MOOrnin everyone, long time no morning chat. Hope you are all doing good :)
:frow Good afternoon Mad, have a great day

Hi Ron, what's the wildfire situation this summer? Hopefully you don't have any close by.
They are not close to woodland yet. My Sister is working up at the fire near the city of Mt. Shasta close Redding. She works for the county and is helping get those with burnt down houses financial aid.

So far the fie season in California is worse than last year! A fire on Oregon cut 14% of our power during the heat wave. Luckily our power stayed on.

The fires you get out there would scare me every summer. We get some here but not like you do.

For us it is mostly the poor air quality. So far, the fires have been in the mountains and low foot hills so the fire is not in the Valley.

Napa is bad for us since it is close...but also because it ruins the wine!
