We are about to end another PGandE power cutoff. This one was for 55,000 customers. Our county had a handful of power cutoffs.



Hopefully the wind will move from the south and send some moisture this way!

OK, I know that is a bit self serving


In the past it hasn't been unusual to have a light "melts the next morning" snow in September. No freeze yet this year and Wunderground doesn't show one in the 10 day forecast. Very weird for sure.

Hi Janie! It can wait until Spring here. We are saturated right now. Here’s a couple pictures from the other day. The culvert runs through our field and was just gushing. There was nothing coming out of it the day before.

Luckily we do not live in a high fire danger place. Of course the wind can still cause fire to spread quickly.

My son tells me the same about the area they moved to, in Colorado. I still worry a little. But it is good to know that the risk isn't so high.
My BIL & SIL live in Oregon, and keep evacuation bags ready. They seem to live with smoky skies constantly.
