The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Good morning, everyone!

Labs today! I was supposed to get them done over a week or so ago but my nephrology appointment had to be rescheduled. Dr. McGuire likes to have the labs done as close to the appointment as possible so she’s working off the latest numbers.

I caught a glimpse of the bottom of the dirty clothes hamper yesterday. Sadly it was but a fleeting glimpse.

I forgot to start my sourdough bread dough last night, darn it! Oh, well….I’ll get my starter fed this morning and then make the dough tonight. Somebody remind me, will ya?

Hope your labs turn out A+ Blooie!

Oh, and remember to feed your starter and make your dough tonight.

Labs not as good as I’d hoped. I was at 32 last time…I dropped to 29. Rats!! Not sure what she’s gonna say on Monday. Oh, well.

Fed the starter, it’s looking good. So I’ll be able to get my dough made around 10 tonight. Thanks, Debby!! ;)

Good morning everyone :frow

Sorry to hear about your labs Blooie. How often do you have to do those? Good job on the bread-making!

Good morning, Debby and DMC. Actually I haven’t been to bed yet.

The labs will go back up. They tend to bounce a bit. I’ve been as low as 19 and as high as 36. I’m not really on a lab schedule - just whenever I have an appointment with Dr.McGuire, or incidental to another appointment with a different physician like my GP or cardiologist. If they order labs, the GFR is automatically on them like it is for most folks getting blood drawn.

Heya Blooie!

Ah yes. The trip to the Lab Vampires. I have to go every time I see my Diabetic Specialist. My veins are deep and they like to wiggle, so when fasting it takes them 1/2 an hr to find my veins and sometimes as much as 3-4 sticks to hit one. Last time it took 3 sticks and they took it out of my elbow. Sigh.
:frow Good morning VC, have a great day

I'm going to town this morning... one of my stops is to have labs drawn. Something to look forward to-NOT!

Good morning everyone 😊 Have a great Saturday
