Today I had lunch with my best friend at another long time favorite restaurant.
My family has been dining at this place since the early 70s. My favorite thing about Texas is tacos and fajitas.
I'm feeling like a real sloth now.

Janie, I used to loved the taco stand in San Antonio. Shed made the best tacos and breakfast tacos. And her fajita's were out of this world.

I can hardly remember the last time we were in San Antonio. I love the atmosphere there. There is a tiny community a few miles from here, that has a tiny little Cafe. The tacos there are so good. We there about once a week. Of course, with the price of gas rising, we may have to cook at home. I can make a mean Taco fortunately.

Any time but summer, Mad. Fall is my favorite time of the year. It's like a respite from the heat. Of course, our fall is usually still in the upper 70s and 80s....maybe November. Come for Thanksgiving. Lol. It may be in the 60s by then.

Hows spring there? If rain is avoidable

Good morning Mad it's going pretty well, I'm taking little walks after taking care of the chickens and I'm loving it .

Oh, forgot!! Guess who got new wheels yesterday? She was outgrowing her old one so it was time. Ken and I are keeping the old one though, so we have one available for emergencies. More than onc3 when Jenny has ended up in the ER, we didn’t have her chair because it was either in Jenny’s car or at their house, and we’d be playing “musical wheelchairs”. It’s now a bit small for her but serviceable, and it’ll do. The new one breaks down better for transport and has a tray that snaps on it. Fancy!!
