The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

He’s just a little sore, and actually surprising me! Thanks for asking! As for pain, he’s able to stay on top of it with just a couple of Advil. We didn’t even fill the Tramadol prescription. It’s ripped up and in the trash. The new choppers look and fit great, and he’s already eating more solid foods than we thought he’d be able to handle. Talking is still a bit of an issue - he says it feels like he‘s trying to talk with a mouthful of my mom’s steak. (Ma was great, but the one food she never mastered was steaks under the broiler. The more you chewed them, the bigger the piece got in your mouth! :gig) He just ate 2 grilled cheese sandwiches, which impressed the socks off me! His denture is absolutely perfect. I got a good look at it when he took it out to do his salt water rinse. It’s so natural looking..the denturist even got the little gap between his 2 front teeth which Ken has had since his first permanent teeth came in. I’m impressed enough that I may seriously consider that replacement for myself.

It is. I had anticipated a couple of weeks of whining, fussing, and demands. Nope. :lau

Me too! He’s needed this done but kept putting it off until one of his front teeth snapped clean in half. Since he was already missing the tooth next to it, he looked a little….um….off. If I was a stranger riding on an elevator with him, I’d have pulled my purse closer to me. :lau
