Good morning, Blooie. And thank you! I agree, the comraderie is what makes BYC, and the contests, great.
I referred my Colorado kids to your MHP thread. They are getting ready to build their coop and buy some chicks.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but you’re a MHP user too, aren’t you? I would think your personal experience would be even more helpful than trying to wade through that huge thread! Someone on the thread is always available to answer questions, though, so tell them if they have any to just ask!

I am. I still use it, even though I bought a brooder plate. I referred them so that they could see illustrations for making one. But yes, they've seen me use one.
As far as reading the thread, it's like a good book; full of laughter and tears!

Good afternoon….or still morning here by about 15 minutes. Got a busy day…we have a showing of the house at 5 and it’s been snowing and blowing hard here since last night. So keeping the floors clean is a never ending challenge.

We had pretty weather for a couple of hours. Now it is overcast and sprinkling.
Everything is greening up here. Our crossvine is looking very healthy this year.

I think my mom will be able to go home from her stay in the physical therapy place this week. Who knows how long she'll be able to stay in her house, but she's looking forward to getting there.

My back is a reoccurring issue...pack a little, move some boxes, hurt the back. Rest it and repeat. I'm trying to take it easy when I can but am so ready to be done with this. I'm not long on patience though (about anything ) so it can't be done too soon for me!
