I drove to town on icy roads as it rained in the night. It is still a winter wonderland. We have had fog and frosty trees for days. We were supposed to get several inches of snow but it missed us.

Good morning all.
We get a free coffee today, compliments of one of the banks. We have to go get it. I think I’ll skip it.

It was nice of them to gift the coffee, but would have been even nicer to have it delivered!

Yes! thanks for asking Janie, are those eggs store bought? If they are I'll pass on the eggs. There is something I want to say. When a person is going through trauma, in their lives they don't always think straight. As soon as we ran out of our farm fresh eggs, I looked at Susie and said, why didn't we keep a few of our hens and she replied you know Mark we should have. looking back I see we were trying to do the best we could given the circumstances.

You had a lot more on your mind then chickens and eggs at the time and you were doing your best.

My little bantam cochins have started laying. I found a nest with 4 eggs this morning. There are just the two of them and sebright who isn't laying yet.
