The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Yes you did share this and thank you for the reminder! I have this gal bookmarked on YouTube so I can watch.

I don’t have confusion, and my last incident of vertigo lasted the entire day. I spent the day in bed with my eyes closed, no sounds. Sleeping for the most part.

I don’t care what they call it, I just want a plan for moving forward. Coincidentally, people with Meniere’s often have had migraines in the past. Also, sounds can be too loud or inaudible, and hearing loss tends to limit itself to one ear usually, with tinnitus in that ear rather than both. Some people do end up with both ears affected though, but that’s even more rare.
I've had horrible painful migraines in the past. These aren't. Like so many other illnesses this is just one type under the umbrella. I didn't know there were so many different types of headaches. This one is silent, but makes you feel pretty lousy, like rocking on a boat all day. Some days are still like this for me, but not nearly like it used to be. I've lost more hearing in my left ear, considerably more. Sounds..lights..I wear sunglasses everywhere, even in church. For my ride up to the wedding I put things in my ears to snub out the sound of the tires on the road. I've suffered with non stop dizzy, woozy, wobbly, for 2 years now..all day every day. What do they call it? They find something to call it eventually. This gal has the right name and she has the right plan to move forward. I'm doing things now I never thought I would be doing again. I had sat on the couch, I laid in bed. I got up holding onto things. I wasn't giving myself enough therapy..self therapy through my home. I needed to get up off of my butt. Do something , even if it was only one thing, buts its more now..and be able to lay down at night and think..I did something! Going to therapy didn't help me, it made me worse, just like most I've talked with. Watch her. Good luck. :) 💗

Good morning, DMC. Poor boy.

Good morning, IM. Have a better day!
Hi Janie, so far so good!
Good morning IM, hope you have a good day!

Morning Janie, naps are good!
Thanks Debby, you too! I’m definitely planning a nap though.
Good morning all. Hoping everyone has a great weekend. We have a week of mid 90's scheduled. Seems a might early for that.
Hi Pert!
Good morning folks :frow

Sour I hope you feel ok after your fall. Unfortunately, I have way to much experience with them. My BP bottoms out and I black out and find myself on the floor. I'm at the point where I use the walker full time in the house and the cane outside.

Congratulations

I'm glad it's working

Military training... On time is late, more than 2 minutes early is to early.

:frow Good morning Debby, have a great day

Bob that sounds super scary. Stay safe!

Flower pots anyway. I’m not planting anything in my retaining wall this year. I’m hoping my moss roses from last year will reseed themselves.

Hi Bob, you also! What causes your blood pressure to bottom out?

Thanks Debby! I’ll be happy to oblige you  I wanted those beautiful sunset petunias I got last year, but no luck!
I'm not sure, but the doc changed my meds and 12:00 is down and 4:00 is up and I haven't blacked out since. I think we're on the right road. I'm not making it easy for her as I keep losing weight. Down more than 50 pounds since September. It sucks getting old, but I guess the alternative is worse.
:frow Good morning Cynthia, have a great day

Thanks so much for sharing your experience, it really gives me hope!

I know what you mean, I hate just sitting in bed or on the couch. I got myself a walker so that I can take a walk around the neighborhood in the early morning before it gets hot. Then there are things I want to do around the house too. I do them, but it takes me a while and I have been exhausted by the time I make dinner and get a shower at the end of the day. I’ve learned not to get in a hurry that’s for sure!

I will definitely check out the video you shared. Thanks again for your help Cynthia!

It's scary when things go wrong and we don't have answers. Congrats on the weight loss though, that has to help with all sorts of things.

We just planted most of the garden. My son wanted some stuff planted this year. He bought 33 pepper plants, 5 varieties. Next year I will buy veggie plants for him. He bought broccoli and brussel sprout plants, cucumber, watermelon, bean, and romaine lettuce seeds. I had already bought cuke and beans. I will not get bored this summer weeding the garden. We put in 11 tomato plants. I saved egg shells, crushed them and added them to the holes. Supposedly that’s supposed to help with the black spots I had in my tomatoes last year.
