Good morning all. Super windy this morning. I think it was blowing in the...heat wave thats coming. Not as bad as what some of you are going through.

We are about through with this heat wave. Today will be 102F for a high. Tomorrow we go back to the 90s for highs.

I hope we do not have too many heat waves this year!

Tell it to my M-I-L!

F-I-L has some high end hearing aids but has problems so she won't even think about getting tested and fitted. WE all KNOW she needs them. F-I-L with Parkinson's (in nursing facility) sometimes speaks up and we can easily hear him, sometimes so quiet we can hardly hear him. M-I-L misses both volumes. And she misses when we are talking at her house. But no, she doesn't need hearing aids. No way her hearing could be somewhat diminished, she's only recently turned 90.

The mosquitoes are back though. Apparently when the heat index is over 104 they hibernate.

Too bad they don't fry in that heat, has to be some benefit to it!

A prior governor, while in office, went into the back yard naked at night to scare off a bear (probably not recommended). The bear left, maybe the lady should have stripped instead of approaching the bear!

The office I work in. I sit facing that window.

You work in an oven? Must be horrid in that tin can, especially on a hot sunny day.

I should have been Madhouse Cow but, pullet sounded like it went with the chicken forum.

And we're considering the 90's coming..high 90's..a heat wave. Will be our highest yet this year..97 to 99. Glad your getting a break. I remember hitting three digit weather a few years back. Miserable!

I love cows. But it started long ago, on a cold brisk moorning, in December. When someone put "imu" for "I miss you", I started to say "imoo"; which shortly became "moo" and then carried on that way. It's just bovine love

Seriously! We had a beach day planned for Saturday (1st) but, I couldn't leave my dogs in that nasty heat!
