Well, we really NEED about 500 mg of sodium each day, unless you’re outside sweating.The recipe sounds good, but my suspicion is that it would be better if salted butter was used or a pinch of salt was added to the spice and sugar mixture.
We have such a negative view of salt, a mineral necessary for life, that we cut it in the most odd ways. There is not very much salt in butter and adding pinch of salt to a sweet recipe is barely measurable when spread over the whole recipe.

Our pond partially thawed at one end today. The other end is still frozen so it was interesting to watch the water flow up to the ice and then back the other way. ( I'm easily amused.)

We break the grades up. Some go into the gym and the rest go into the flex area and watch a movie or go on their chromes. The next inside day different classes go in the gym or flex area. It is extremely stressful in the gym. Someone always gets hurt.That's good...no one needs to be going out for recess in this crazy cold. What do the kids do inside, do you have a gym or some place inside for them to burn off some energy?
