Morning IM, thanks, we're ok. What are you up to today?
Hi Debby. Not a lot. Hubs is working half the day and it’s rainy off and on. I’m saving house and yard work for next week when the boys are on spring break. No sleeping all day and staying up all night for them; they are both on my list and will be earning their way off it all week. I even made a list of extra stuff that needs doing just in case they accomplish everything. What are you up to?

The boys better be eating their Wheaties, sounds like they're going to be very busy :lol:

I'm puttering this morning, laundry and then I have some cooking to do. DH's birthday is tomorrow but we're doing his dinner tonight. Meatloaf (bacon wrapped!) and asparagus is on the menu and I picked up a tiramisu for dessert.

Happy Birthday to your guy! I used to have meatloaf and baked potatoes on my birthday every year, just changed up the vegetable. Tiramisu :drool

Just got home from grocery shopping with Igor, resting until I go get the tween from school. It’s a cold, windy and wet day today.
 
Hi DMC, happy Friday to you! I know you're ready for a weekend.

Growing up in Kansas, those sirens were a part of our routine...so many storms (uffda as someone I know would say!). This is the first one I've heard since leaving KS in 2010. And it would be fine with me to never hear them again.
TGIF! What a week. I was teacher assistant in 1st grade all day yesterday and teacher this morning in 3rd grade and teacher assistant in the other 1st grade class this afternoon. (Uffda! :lol:)I am ready for the weekend.

How do you make your meatloaf? That’s one thing I have never cared for.

Check out this recipe by Chef John, that's the one we really like: Chef John's Zombie Meatloaf. It's delicious, lots of flavor and moist.

I only shape it like a zombie around Halloween, the rest of the time I just shape it in a large log. Here's a picture of mine when I made it a zombie: :gig

I may give it a try. I’d have to leave the mushrooms and celery out.
