Lemon merengue

Love lemon merengue! Nobody else in my family likes it though. I don’t like the crust though, just give the innards

Always my favorite too

With coconut cream or peach as the runners up. My mom used to make a raspberry pie for my birthday that was pretty awesome too.

Raspberry sounds wonderful! I've never had a Raspberry pie.

My mouth is watering just remembering it Mom would make it like any other fruit pie. It was delicious!

Mom used to bake a lot of pies. She was friends with her local grocery store produce manager and he would set aside big boxes of fruit that was dinged too much for selling. She'd make dozens of pies then her and dad would go to craft fairs and sell them.
