Sorry about the squash, you guys did get a lot of rain. Last year was too dry, this year was too wet, so next year should be just right! (maybe)

If anyone is interested, this is a new recipe we tried last week. It was delicious, so I'm making it again for tonight:
easy baked chicken meatballs
The lemon butter garlic herb sauce (it's part of the recipe) brushed on the meatballs really adds a lot of nice flavor.

They are yummy! And something different (plus, we end up with leftovers for DH's lunch a couple of times).

The first time I served the meatballs with spaghetti squash. This time I made another new recipe for mushroom risotto using cauliflower rice in place of regular rice. I preferred the squash and DH preferred the risotto. Of course.

Me too and me neither. We are supposed to start cooling down a little bit and then rain chances go up but aren’t super promising. We need it so bad.

Those both sound good! It would be the reverse here, I love cauliflower anything and DH prefers squash.

The little dude likes chicken and lemon together, I bet if I gave him some buttered noodles he’d enjoy these too, thanks for sharing!
