Come spring time DH will work on getting it fixed up. He's a golf course superintendent so he's good at growing green stuff.

The cook from frozen bird takes away the need for it to sit days taking up valuable fridge space defrosting. It's already brined so all you have to do is take it out of the wrapping, put it in the roasting pan and brush some oil on it and stick it in the oven. The wrapper says it takes about 4 hours to bake, mine took 5 hours probably because different ovens vary in temp.

It turned out with golden crispy skin and juicy meat. The only thing I missed was it doesn't come with giblets which I like to use for gravy (but not that big a deal).

It was a pretty big turkey for just the two of us but DH is excited about the leftovers so that might not be an issue in the end. :lol:

Speaking of leftovers, when my daughter left Thursday I packed up some leftovers for her to take. I accidentally sent our portion of the leftovers with her too. 🤣
Jim was a little disappointed but we are having almost the same exact meal today so he should be good.

Oh gosh lol nice!

I’m going to the clubhouse again today. They’re just doing an in house thing again today like they have the past couple weekends, no outing this time, but it’s an art workshop thing I think that one of the members is helping put on with one of the staff so it should be fun hopefully. Some of us went to Michael’s with a staff this past week and bought some supplies for it and then they also ordered these postcard things on Amazon that happened to be on sale and I THINK the idea of today’s workshop is to pick a postcard and try to paint it. They are all like nature type scenes and we bought watercolor paints. The postcards are by Homer somebody, I forget his last name but he’s a famous artist I think from Boston? So yeah. We were going to get some Picasso ones too in case anybody wanted to do abstract stuff but we just got the Homer ones I believe. It was like $8 for a TON of them LOL they were on sale.
