It looks like an inside day here. It’s rainy out and still very wet from prior rains. I'm keeping an eye on the weather reports. We are on the edge of the severe weather but we have children and grandchildren in the danger zone. There are tornado threats until mid afternoon today.

My kitties are getting on the senior side, all 3 are 8 years old now. They're ornery enough without any help from Janie's cat Junipurr

I just realized that my babies aren't kittens anymore either. Junapurr is going on 4 years and Boo just turned 5! (Time to adopt a baby boy!)

Yeah, our sheep aren't too picky. They eat thistles and stuff. I don't think the grass that has gone to seed is as nutritious, though, so we definitely have alfalfa and other grass hay that is way better. Some of this we will probably throw down as bedding and mud control at this point if things don't start freezing here soon.

Aww, 8 for a cat, that's only middle-aged! They're just getting good. My Bernie boy, (the big orange one) must be 15 or so now.

You got me curious so I looked up a chart about cat ages:

I stand corrected...my 3 are "mature" and not seniors. Sorry kitties!
