The NFC B-Day Chat Thread

Looks like we're staying the night in Dillon. The guys tried everything and stayed late for us. They're letting us sleep in the parking lot. So nice of them. Going to have to get creative for the rest of the shearing run or at least these next few jobs if the pickup is out of commission for awhile!
Hi Jen, glad you didn't get stuck in the middle of nowhere and there's a shop handy to fix your truck! I don't see snow in the background, are the roads clear? Good luck with the rest of the trip, hope it goes smoothly!
Thanks, Debby! Spring has sprung here these last few days! Not too much snow left! Some jobs were a sheet of ice with literally streams of water rushing over them from the runoff. Surprisingly I didn't fall but I felt my old hockey skills might come in handy there a few times, but sans skates would have not done me much good! 🏒⛸️

Hi everyone! Happy halfway through the work week! We're in Dillon, Mt on our way to Blackfoot for another job. Pickup died at the intersection while pulling into town to get fuel.

LUCKLY there's a shop in town to fix it and a tow truck that came and saved us. Shaft sensor needs replaced. Hopefully that's all and we can make it to the job in time!

I hope everyone is doing great!

Hi Jen! Is it like this every year? Seems like you've had more than your share of bad luck.

Baseball game today. We didn't go because I had a dental appointment. They won 12/2, and grandson had a good game with another double (his 100th collegiate hit), a walk, and a pop fly sacrifice RBI.
Congrats to the grandson. I'm sorry you had to visit the dentist instead of catching the winning game.

Sorry about your truck, Jen. I hope you can come up with a solution.
