Hi Janie, my parents had one of those old time crank ice cream makers too. Us kids used to think that was so much fun to take turns cranking it! When my boys were young, I thought they'd enjoy it too...turns out kids had changed over the years and cranking a big tub of salty ice was work and not fun. :gig

Wait! They have likable doctors now? If you tell me that he can write legibly too, I'll swoon!
Seriously, I've met few doctors that I liked.
I usually prefer nurse practioners or PAs. They, as a general rule, don't have the "God Complex" and are much better listener's.

That sounds like a good time, Janie! I never had to crank any ice cream, but I'm sure I never built any character, either, lol. Ice cream parties should definitely be a thing, tho. I remember them as kids, but adults should really have more! 🍨

I totally get it about the complex Janie! This guy is different, at least for now (he's new to town). Also he's from South America. Maybe it's the Latin mannerisms, but he is a really easy person to chat with. Even DH likes him.

P.S. I've never seen his handwriting, he uses a computer for everything :lol:
