Hi DMC, what are you up to today?

I have a friend and her son coming at 10:00 to bring me some goodies he baked. He’s 6. He’s entering them at the fair. After that, I’m heading to town and picking up 3 co-workers and we’re going for lunch.

I have a couple of errands to run but nothing out of the ordinary.

Just wrapped up my latest mosaic, it's a tray. I had to 2 goals with this one...to make a mosaic without having to cut any tile pieces (made it) and to use up some stuff that was laying around for a couple years (almost made it, had to buy a little bag more of triangle glass tiles so there is still stuff laying around).

Some of the pieces are tiny round mirrors, my hair and shirt show up in a couple of them

That was one of his early ones...I loved it! So you never read or watched The Stand or Misery? Those were good too. He got into writing some weird fantasy stuff at one point and lost me for a while. But he's back to writing like his earlier days.

I stopped reading him. He got too weird for me.
The stand was one of my favorites. It gave me nightmares but I hated the mini series. The cast just didn't suit the novel characters at all.
Kathy Bates in Misery is one of my all time favorite villains. I enjoyed The Shining more than any of his movies. Jack was great in that but Shelly Duvall just wasn't.

A long time ago I pretty much decided King's books were better than any of the movies that were made out of them.
