Just give me my winter. We hardly have fall or spring. Its usually hot & humid again by mid April.

I knew someone would feel like this...lol! I enjoy it for a short time, but then I'm ready for some warm sunshine!

I'm glad to see someone that does! Your weather I know can be close to as nasty as ours can, so thinking of spring sometimes helps. Otherwise, the never-ending gloomy, icy cold days just wear us out!

Exactly. The winters can run too long. Stay warm and remember it's not as long as it can seem.

Thanks, Barry! It's one of the nicest times of the year when the cottonwoods, aspens and tamaracks have all turned color. Sounds like those apples are keeping you busy! Fun to hear about. We planted an apple tree this year, but it's an ornamental crab apple, so I don't think we'll be doing anything with the fruit. I think I would have a fan if I could get some other more fruit-bearing type planted, though.

The apples sure are keeping us busy!! It is a good kind of busy though! Having a small orchard is very rewarding, but a lot of work goes into it! I am having a good one! I hope you are too!

Ornamental crab trees are pretty, so you have that to look forward to. When I was a little kid, all the grown ups on the block decided everyone should plant 2 ornamental crabs in the front yards. When they all bloomed they were so beautiful! And when they developed little hard crab apples, they were great ammo for us kids to launch at each other...they made good sling shot ammo.

That sounds like something I would have done lol!

I measured before we went. The guy said it should fit. I said it looks too big. I hope I’m wrong. It’s deeper by about 3”.

I have the whole Precious Moments Sugartown village, another Precious Moments Christmas set, a Fall one and the Nativity. There’s other Christmas stuff in there too. I dust it once a year. Don’t look too closely.
