Hi Janie! Not really. I didn’t end up baking bread. I threw my starter back in the fridge. I’m going to try again Sunday.I did bake cupcakes tonight for a friend. It looks like they baked up nicely.

Can't wait to hear how it turns out in your new oven. At least you have an idea that it doesn't run as hot as your old oven.
Mine is bulk fermenting. I'll be shaping it soon. Then into the fridge overnight.

You should probably post a picture. I will, if I ever get one made.

I got in a hurry and baked it last night... not my best loaf, I didn't even want to take a picture of it.

I usually do an overnight proof and that works much better!

This is how they usually turn out.

That’s beautiful! I bake mine in loaf pans. I tried Dutch ovens but the bottoms were always too hard for me to cut through.
