Today my husband mowed the lawn in front (we don't have one in back yet) he watched as 4 cars we have never seen before nor recognize as belonging in our nieghborhood, pulled up, went to our nieghbor across the street's door, went inside for less than a minute and left. My husband is familiar with drugs, having dabbled with them in high school after his mother died...and I agree with his opinion - them nieghbors iz selling drugs out their house. Classy. From what we know, the owner has been out of work for a few years and his wife works...his daughter lives with them and has her on and off boyfriend living there too along with their 3 year old son. They all have gotten new vehicles in the last 3 months.....soooooooo the question is...... do we report it?? They already have a long domestic violence record with the cops including child abduction too. Frankly they're the trashiest folks on the block and I'm tired of their nonesense.... I have a little baby now and I'd rather not have people coming to my nieghborhood parking in front of my house and getting drugs. Ugh.

They might be selling stuff other then drugs, I sell lots of stuff on Craigslist and frequently people just pick up what they want and leave, only takes 5 minutes or so.

could be drugs or they could be selling other things. Unless you know them, you don't know what might have changed to allow them to purchase new vehicles. Believe me, you'd be noticing a lot more than 4 cars if they were selling drugs.

My neighbors across the street? They sell drugs. Prescription meds. Older guy, disabled. He gets his meds refilled the first friday of the month. Like clockwork we watch the traffic start. Lasts about 2-3 days. Same cars every month. Pull in, leave the car running (usually someone sitting in the drivers seat), and gone in less than 60 seconds.

It was 4 cars in the space of an hour...we don't hang out and watch their house, so we hadn't noticed before. My husband checked later and saw another car do the same thing. Nobody comes out wit anything that he saw...craiglist, I wouldn't put it past them to use craigslist to sell drugs... We are talking with our other neighbor as to what ti do...and going to ask the owner of he house what is going on... giving them the benefit of the doubt. Knowing them though...its probably drugs.

One day, one incident of 4 cars arriving, visiting for a short period of time then leaving.

Sounds like my place when I have an ad in the newspaper to sell chicks.
Shucks, I didn't know I was a drug dealer.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. My contribution is simply to illustrate that many reasons exist to explain the situation you describe.

As for "what to do"
my advice is nothing, until you have a better idea of what's going on, or the actions of your nieghbor begin to impact you and your family.

If you think it is drugs keep sheer drapes on your windows with the lights and TV off so you are not seen and write down license numbers and color/make of cars and time and dates if this is a drug house more than likely it will be the same cars over and over again for the most part and the re will be a pattern of dates/times for when they sell and then you go to the cops. otherwise you will look silly to the cops and they won't even take you seriously. as some have stated before they could be selling stuff via Craig's list and not necessarily drugs. they could be selling base ball cards as far as that goes. so before you accuse make sure you have enough evidence to have the cops look into it.

Quote: The police can't do anyting unless THEY get the evidence of a crime being committed.
Watching the neighbors, and writing license numbers is just being nosy.

All places are different.I had a friend who reported a neighbor over and over, and nothing was ever done.Neighbors burnt down their home, collected insurance, and moved away.

Report it if you want, but I would not if I had to give my name.People will turn on you for no reason at all.
