Dust bunnies are those little~or big, depending on the house and who lives there and their general housekeeping skills~balls of dust, hair, lint and who knows what else that roll up under a bed or couch. They live more fully and move around more freely on hard floors as opposed to carpeted floors.
When a cat runs under a bed and comes out draped in brown/grey fluffy stuff, you have an infestation of dust bunnies!
