@MoonHarvester how is your hen? I agree that could possibly be a cystic right oviduct. It may be a fluid filled sac.

I just got home so I didn’t see her all Sunday and this morning.

She didn’t eat or really drink any water in my absence but she’s active. I cannot see her vent at all really since the prolapse is covering it, the prolapse is pretty firm and hard and she pushed back when I push on it.

Im giving her an Epsom bath right now, I’m a bit nervous of what else I am able to do for her. I’m not confident of doing the other things just yet since I’m not sure what’s it is and I don’t want to make things worse or cause her pain.

Can you tell if there's an egg or lash material in the prolapse? Since it's hard, that may be the case.

Separate her out so the other hens don't pick at that and flies don't get on it. Keep the tissue coated with oil, honey or ointment.

The crusty material will be hard to come off, it can take days for that to slough off. Just keep it coated.

Often, they are unable to retain the prolapse, especially if there's an egg or it has the white crusty material, so do the best you can but sometimes pushing back in doesn't work, you have to wait for swelling and inflammation to go down.

Be sure to give her 300mg Calcium Citrate+D3 once daily this will promote healing and retention.

The article you found is pretty good, if you follow that it should be o.k. If she tolerates the soaking, that's fine, but if she gets stressed with soaking, omit that part.

Is she able to poop?

This thread is from a while back, you may want to read it, her hen took a good while to heal but she kept on going, it can be a process.
