Hm, intriguing What sort of plans do they make?

Two examples:
My dad would have a "terrific plan" to turn the ranch into a dude ranch but my grampa would shoot it down.
My dad would have a "terrific plan" to raise musk oxen for their meat and make a humungous profit and my grampa would shoot it down
..etc. (BTW my grampa lives with me, in case you're wondering)
