I wish I could see the ground! I wish I could see my deck or porch. This weekend I'll be shoveling snow off the roof of the run in barn before it collapses. I can't wait to start doing yard work again. My driveway is like a cave with snow 6' tall on either side. My veggie garden is under there somewhere....

However, it did reach 40 degrees yesterday and there was a wasp in my hair!! at the supper table! I haven't seen a bee since Sept/Oct. I am seriously out of practice at swatting bees off my head. I must have wacked myself a dz times as I danced around the kitchen. That must be a sign!

I started today!

Cleaned the wall going up the stairs. Gets dingy with hand and finger prints. Cleaned the dust off the pictures in both halls.
Cleaned the mudroom and cleaned the grill.

Cleaned more dog poop up as well.

I would rather clean the coop daily.
Oh and left the front door and some windows open to let the house breath a bit.

Isn't the fresh air GREAT? It was nice enough to leave a door open yesterday, but today - BRRRR.

I am trying to get on a 'picking stuff up' spree around the house. The clutter is looking settled in... Then I shall dust!

Oh, I can't wait for spring, either!!! For the courtyard to be clean and dry and play-able.

Once spring hits, I've got a lot to do outside:

cut our fence in half and finish the fencing, dig up over 20 butt-ugly bushes from our landscape-happy predecessors, till the gardens, put in steps in the back and fix the retaining wall, build a coop, build a small greenhouse (I've got some cool ideas for both of these!) trim some trees, plan and plant a vegetable garden....more I can't think of.

Inside I've got to organize and clean the basement and re-arrange the laundry room downstairs to be a bit more efficient--it needs a new sink, and re-do two bathrooms.

I want the sun back!!! I hope there's no snow on Easter this year...

spring "projects' are different than cleaning though.

Projects.
Tear out the current fence and buy and install 6 ft privacy fence.
Put the reed fencing up at the back of the yard to hide it from the street behind us.
Grade and level where the pool goes. Pray the pool is still usable since I never got it put away correctly.
Plant the veggies and herbs we are growing this year.
Build rabbit hutches
put pea gravel in run. LOTS of pea gravel.
Fix porch where A$$ of an ex housemate burned through the floor because he didnt put anything under the grill to catch the hot ash.
Maybe, just maybe make the mudroom more usable and pretty. I have been wanting to put this really cute wall paper up in there for years now
Paint the "library" room and clean it up some ie organize my crafting stuff.
Refinish the cherry wood table that my mom gave me. The thing is older than me and is worth some $$$$$$.
Reorganize(again) the pantry.

cleaning is stripping the couch, windows, shelves and moving all the furniture from one room to another so I can scrub walls, floors, windows and such. No one wants to be around me when I am "cleaning" But the end result is really really sweet.

I'm trying to clip the poodle tonight for his Spring Spruce Up. Ugh. I smell like wet dawg, am covered in curly white hairs, and WORST of all, I saw a flea! At least it wasn't on me.

Guess I get to bathe him again tomorrow with flea shampoo.

Maybe I can do some more work on his ugly haircut.

Waaaah!!!!!!
