She also Wrestled a Hawk when she was a baby ...and lived ...I ran out and separated them ...
She was named Yap Yap ...now she is called Warrior Princess ..after she did this to me .
Babies had just hatched ..and I came into the coop ...She had never had 3 babies before and she freaked out
She came at me again the next day when she was in a closed in area ..
Her Mama set her straight ..and whipped her tail ...( she had chicks in there too)
Im sure her mama was defending her chicks ...but it looked like she was defending me ..
It healed fine ...she has settled down ..she has one chick now ..she doesnt attack me

However, I am not silly enough to get that close when she is in a mood!

I am currently sporting 3 holes in the top of my foot which are retaliation for peeling her out of the nest box

what does she look like now? with her chicklets?

this is her Mama...getting a treat when she was incubating eggs

They are Both sumatras - Game birds so they are small
this is her with her 3 boys .
She is fierce with other hens chicks and will attack them ..I had to chase her off another hens chick just this week .

She pecked Baby when she was a chick on the neck a couple times so bad I thought the little thing would die .

I had to hold her little neck between my thumb and finger to stop the bleeding ..my hubby sprinkled cornstarch on it so it clotted
First aid - put flour or cornstarch on a chickens bleeding cut
She still has a small bare spot there on the back of her neck
