lol....I've had up to 10 between myself & former housemate before...everything from teacup chihuahua to grown great dane for those 10. About half of which were puppies.

Used to live in Lansing & was born in Oxford OH. Extended family has farmland in Mecosta MI. I'll take the desert...no snow.

I fell for goats in undergrad...had to catch 1 nightly for a play. Did that twice. Nutter butters & french fries seemed to be the lure trick for those 2 goats. lol Though, when they left the one in the 2 acre field with the sheep wasn't fun. Even less fun left in the pen with some big sheep that weren't nice! Those evenings....no goat appeared on stage due to technical difficulties.

Ten?? Wow, my limit is four. I foster dogs, so three were lil puppies..... I mopped the floor twice daily!

a Grown great dane, 2 great dane pups (few months old), 2 weimareiner pups (bit under a year), 2 chihuahua pups, older border collie mix, couple years old basenji mix, couple years old dutch shephard mix....think that was everyone.

doggie door...plus lots of cleaning/training for the babies! There was 2 of us & for a while I was home full time. Which I am now, but no way with the chicks could I do that again. Though I will say, everyone had their spot on my bed for naps.

lol....i forgot about the dozen buns....mostly hollands, but had 2 english lops, & a bonded male rex pair too.

a bit crazy lol

now it's a chihuaha, great dane, chiweenie, 2 holland lop mixes, my 1.5yr old roo & 3 hens, the 14 3month olds (6 boys!), & 21 1month olds. Hoping for rehome on more babies & few of older boys....&/better roo to hen ratio. I'm just a bit crazy.

Four dogs isn't too many! Get the projects done, then work on the fencing, goats are fun!
I have 4 dogs at the house, and co-own a fifth that lives on a farm in Michigan.

My parents think even 2 would be a lot lol and dang thats a lot of dogs! Especially with the high energy ones. What'd you do for exercise?

Walks, dog park. We've several here, plus a few with permanent agility. I got lucky with some in that they were fairly calm. Plus, the weims & danes were each a sibling pair....so they entertained each other. The weim girls would wrestle in a crate. It was too funny when you walked past & they froze thinking they were in trouble. Danes, thankfully, are with a few exceptions really chilled babies. Training goes a long way too. Puppy pushups are awesome! (sit to down to sit & repeat) Very tiring. I'd do the great lineup where everyone had to to sit, down, whatever to get treats. lol Still do the same with these 3. Only my chi has a spring in his little butt...can't keep it on the floor. lol Sorry hijacking from the pics/shaming!!!
