LOL, I have been to that thread, many times. I can't EVEN keep up!

So what green things are being undertaken? I tend to look at it from the viewpoint of how can I save money on the bills and other expense? You guys, those of the generation after mine, are the future! What can you do now to make your tomorrow better?

Recycling... I buy all my clothes from a thrift store, which saves money. Shorter showers, which is no fun, but also saves money and resources.

Good on you! I love the thrift stores, even tho I hate shopping. I had hair down past my butt- once I cut it all really short my showers are a lot faster, lol.

I've been not running errands unless there is an economical list of first to last destinations. We're keeping the house a LOT cooler this winter - 60F. No more stops at the convenience store for anything. If I want OJ later in the day I pour some in a small, reusable bottle, same with water. Put a lot of stuff on power strips we already had, so I can shut it completely off at night.

Just little steps for now, but it's a start.
