I'm going to get it fresh weaned and I'm gonna train it and i am going to register it, and then I'm gonna breed it, and then I'm going to sell the bulls / steers!!!

I just saw this thread! We would like to get one or two smaller beef cattle that do well on pasture. Any suggestions? We live in Iowa so have weather extremes!

We have heard of them, and actually researched quite a few, but nothing is better that experience and advice! Do you have these? What do you think of them?

hmm... the belted galloway are good for extremes, especially the cold.. they are good foragers,and they are really cute!1

Yes! They have fine fur for cold winter days, yet there's Dexter's too, but they're smaller and will nurse others calves, yet stubborn. The cool thing about Highlands is that they really don't get pink eye because of the hair in their faces.
