The Old Folks Home

Today's goal is to get Mary out of the shadows of Elizabeth Taylor.

Worked on it 4 hours so far (3.5 hours was high impact chiseling), came home for drugs and to mix the mortar. Almost done.
Nice Job!

I will enjoy the pictures of the finished work

It had a previous repair which can only be described as the horrors of concrete and bathtub caulking...
What a mess.

Are you related to the Earps or is he just buried here with grandma?

Hes buried in part of that group in the middle... I suspect just found it interesting.

I have never been to our graves... Cant walk across the graveyard... My walker isnt suited for it. Mom had to have Dean To clutch on to get over to the burial... On the way back the Funeral service director took her other hand and they both walked her back.

Grass is deep and stands about six inches above the prone headstones... and there are a lot of them you cant see. in pictures.

@CapricornFarm Have you ever tried Mexican Shrimp Cocktail.... OMG good...

Mexican style Recipe

The place I get mine serves it up in a huge Styrofoam cup.... Loaded with medium sized cooked shrimp, Diced Cucumber, Diced Avocado, Diced sweet onion, Cilantro, Some Serrano Chile... Not very much and very finely diced, Clamato Juice, Lime juice and a splash of Catsup.... No Celery... which is good not a fan.

I can still eat it but it makes about three meals worth...

I have made it myself using Fresh butterflied shrimp seasoned with garlic and lime juice salt and pepper... and cooked with a little bit of olive oil ... let cool down while I prepare the rest.... Tasted Ooo so good. It had a bit more flavor....

Not a fan of spicy dishes, my IBS won't forgive me. Tacos are about as wild as I get.
