I just about got a double 55gal barrel smoker grill finished , striped and painted the top barrel with high temp paint.... one $8 can of paint gone thought it would do both, hopefully fire it up soon and smoke something.
Next I'm back to finishing the whizz bang apple press and grinder I started last yr... Dang I'm slow, hopefully I get it done before the apples are ..

Kids are funny lol. I remember one time we all bunch of us youngsters looking for the end of a rainbow we saw , before we got to the pot of gold ended up walking into a bee nest and all of us got the crap stung out of us :lau
My 2 friends and I blundered into a yellow jacket nest. We ran screaming all the way home. Kids!

I was there about a hundred million years ago, the poor tree is still standing?

Based on the current forecast, you don't need to. The eye should be well offshore unless it decides to turn north again.

Hmmm, kinda forgot about that. Probably float the darn thing right back up! I do like @perchie.girl's suggestion of a mound for the tank.
I think that one is. There is another in the Sequoias that died a couple of years ago. That place is called Calavares big trees

Would love to see some photos when you finish please

Very cool...

On my Mom's side there are a bunch of people with the last name of Snow... can't find any of them living over by you though (I just looked), they were over on the eastern edge of Vermont.

Lots of them around here... but also can't seem to locate her parents.

G'morning all. Hope everyone on the east coast is staying safe. It's hard to comprehend that the weather to the east is so malevolent when we look out the window here and there is sunshine galore and mild temperatures.

@superchemicalgirl, we were really impressed by the work that you are doing on the cemetery. Talk about a labor of love. We haven't encountered any cemeteries in need of work here in MO. In IL there were plenty around us, including the one we lived next to. They kept it mowed and trimmed but there was a pile of grave markers in a corner by the groundskeeper shack that had been broken off and discarded. No new burials there for decades and some of the the markers dated with birth dates back to antebellum.

Our home was to the east of the cemetery. There was a school on the property before the house was built (using materials from demolishing the school) and before the school there was a church.Probably the United Brethren.

@CapricornFarm, how ya feelin?

Pictures of the smoker! YES YES YES!:clap
