One winter (many years back when they were all little) one of our kids tried to jump the driveway on a sled...

He didn't make it, he face planted into the berm alongside the driveway...

It was a perfect cartoon like impression of his body...

The kids have had a ball "camping/glamping" on the screened in patio. They did have somewhat of a fire today. The top stuff burned, but due to the rain the past couple days, the bottom stuff didn't burn. They're young enough, they didn't care. Just so they got a bit of a fire.

Tonight I cooked the last 2 packages of the shrimp I got on such a good sale awhile back. I boiled them in crab boil, and made melted garlic butter to dip them in. Soooooo good.

Diva sent me a notice that Kohl's was having a 15% off sale. I got to checking, and there was a $10.00 coupon for vets too. I took hubby. My Gloria Vanderbilt jeans were $16.99 a pair, PLUS the $10.00 off the total. I got 3 pairs for a steal. Thank you so much, Diva.

Almost 2 inches of snow, blustery winds. The only one's enjoying it are the pups and they are too young to know better. Low of 7 tonight. DH just said that 7 wasn't all that cold. Then I reminded him that we were technically still in fall. Yeah. Puts a different light on things.

I had a doctor's appointment in the morning that I rescheduled. No way I'm venturing out in single digit temps.

Dogs, cats, chooks and humans are staying inside where it is warm.
