Micro, any time I sit down to watch TV, mostly in the evenings, out it comes. I hand quilted a King sized quilt since July. All the piecing and bindings, plus the quilting all hand sewn. Probably the only reason my fingers still work.
It might be time to start one up!Thanks, it's a quilt. I have not worked on needle point in decades.
Heh heh heh .... Heh....Deb DH is from California and he said they used to do the same thing with cardboard.
Never smoke. Never wanted to. Both of my parents smoked. I hated the smell of cigarette butts and ash trays but I can still remember being under 5 and asking her what one tasted like. She had just lit one and handed it to me and told me to inhale deeply. I did and turned green then tried to hack up a lung. She had me take another inhale. That was enough for me. Couldn't make me smoke another one.
Lately when I sit down, Cap, I seem to be studying for the next upgrade for my HAM license. Right now I'm a General Class operator which is good, but there is one more grade and that is called Extra. It's tough. Lots of techobabble about capacitors, resistors, amplifiers and the like. Makes my brains hurt but I feel that if I don't do it before long my brain will turn to old mush and I'll never be able to absorb it all.
So the quilts are standing by waiting for me.
Wanted to make my 7,000th post here among friends at the home!
So here it is, old folks! Post #7,000!
