awesome water colors...Morning Old Folks! I swear my weekends are busier than my work days. I got most of my Christmas presents mailed out on Saturday. I have one more to send (the cardinal painting). I made a couple more paintings for gifts. The cat is for one of my husbands coworkers, the Grinch I'm sending to my daughter to cheer her up at basic training and the cardinal is for my aunt. Did baking, started our obedience classes with the 7 month old pup and got our tree this weekend. The time just disappeared on me.
Beer can I recommend the Epsom salt soaking too. That looks painful

It sounds like a very good time!Morning everyone.
We went to our one and only Christmas party yesterday for our HAM radio club. They hold it at a steak house in nearby Kirksville. So we went in early so I could hit Dollar Tree for Christmas gifts for the canines and felines. Wound up spending 49 dollars...oh well, at least I kept it under 50 because you always find other treasures for 1$ while you are there. I especially like to pick up the stretchy gloves for winter. I try to keep a pair in all my coats and hoodies. And the pretzel rods are to die for. You just gotta know what to grab when you are there. I also picked up a coffee mug that has A house is not a Home without paw prints on it. Seemed appropriate given the number of paw prints in our home.
Got home by 4 and by 6 told DH that I felt like I was getting a cold. Kinda took the pleasant buzz out of the Sirloin Steak dinner I enjoyed...the first red meat in two years! It was delicious! Woke up this morning feeling like the house was sitting on my sinuses. Yep, gotta cold. CARP!
No plans for today other than to take it easy and try to beat the snots off.
@Beer can sure hope your finger is feeling better.
