The Old Folks Home

...and turn into mud, Bruce, like it did here.

@chickisoup, I keep getting this mental image of our cattle dogs diving all together at a tossed treat and the ensuing tangle of legs tails and teeth at the resulting battle and have to shudder.

Hi @CapricornFarm! How ya doin?

Good morning @Bunnylady!

Our local grocery store is offering to shop for seniors and high risks and either delivering the order for you or you can pick it up at the curb. Just emailed the manager and we are good to go. I'm relieved. After the doctor coming down with Coronavirus I have NO desire to go to Kirksville nor do I want DH going there. I'd rather deal with our local germs and viruses thank you very much!
Hey Becky, sounds like a good plan with the groceries. Not sure how I am yet, just got up. I do feel a bit better than yesterday. Of course, the sun is shining so that perks a person up anyway.

Deb is that an honest to God orchid in that pic?

I'm sure I'd be mentally perkier if I didn't wake up to clouds and rain every day. I feel as though I woke up and somebody moved us to Washington State!

Did you catch that one @penny1960?
Yep, the real thing. Hubby bought it for me some time ago and it decided to bloom again!

As of 8:00 a.m. this morning New Mexico is on official stay-at-home lockdown, all non-essential businesses to close. I think the mandate is through April 4th. No gatherings of more than 5 people, so no large families to go grocery shopping. Takeout only from restaurants. Many stores offering curbside delivery.
All my friends (and myself) have been on self-imposed lockdown for about a week, so this is not a new thing. It's better to be proactive than reactive!

No lock down here in MO but IL to our east is. I wish they would do a lock down but they say there aren't enough cases yet and true, most of the cases to be found are in the southern part of the state where the population is denser. I guess we are lucky that way to be where we are.

But the Amish are completely clueless....that worries me.

@CapricornFarm how did you get the orchid to bloom? Everything I've heard about them is that they are so hard to keep alive yet along coax them into blooming.

Well phalaenopsis are easy orchids, all I did was put it in my kitchen window and water it when I thought about it.

They are doing that here as well. Bringing to your car or delivering. Awesome service.
