Thanks everyone. I told DH this morning that we could add "Pandemic" to the list of things we have experienced since we have been together.

The Princess and I term these happenings : "Elaine and George's Great Adventures" - some we can do without. Surviving is frequently a matter of positive attitude.

Just learned that Missouri goes into lock down on the 6th. Don't know why the 6th instead of say Sunday morning but that is what the powers that be say so it is written so it is done.

I love that idea @sourland. We, my DH and myself, have had a lot of great adventures and look forward to many more.

Left face masks and eggs for the UPS deliveryman. Gotta take care of him. He and Amazon are feeding us these days along with the local grocery store!

I usually buy a barn star to add to my collection every year to commemorate our anniversary. Couldn't do it this year for obvious reasons so DH made one he designed himself to celebrate the day.

I forgot to add that he printed it on his 3D printer for me!

staying in picked up steak at Fuller Grocery in Centralia bought nice size Tomato at ace hardware but good to be safe at home again

Wakey Wakey Everybody!

I'm learning to cherish those first few moments when I wake up and for a fleeting instant, the world is normal in my sleep fuzzed brain. Then I remember that it will never be the old normal again but that a new normal has taken it's place.

Still, normal for us here on the farm. Wood still needs to be harvested, chickens need tending, the garden needs worked on. We decided that we need more space to plant our squash so more tilling in in store for us plus I need to work on filling my containers. Being outside still feels normal and I try to spend as much time out there as I can.

We do have a stay inside order going into effect sometime on the 6th. I've read the decree and it's about as clear as mud. The letter from the governor states it goes into effect at 12:01 on Monday April 6th. Bloody well about time is all I can say.

DH and I have pretty much been doing that for two months only going out for food for ourselves or the critters. So Oh blah Dee Oh Blah Da.............
