deb, My brother got his polio vaccine on his arm. Mine was done on the upper part of the top of my leg. Unless I really hunt for it, it's invisible.

Sadly my small grocery store is doing "call in order, pick up outside, $50 minimum". They've closed all deli service and that would likely be $20 of my weekly purchases. I don't know if I would hit the $50 minimum
Teenage boys go through a lot of food!
A local bar has turned into a "super safe food store". They wear hazmat suits and wipe down all goods that arrive, and bring them out to your car, stick it in your trunk... no touching.
But they get their goods from the restaurant supply company Sysco, so... 50# bags of floor, 15 pounds of pork loin...etc.
They had a minimum purchase requirement if you also wanted to buy toilet paper and paper towels.
Spouse and I laughed.
We made up an order, came to only $225, and that was extremely reasonable.
But then... we are a family of 7, and 3 of the boys are HUGE BOTTOMLESS PITS!!!!
So funny actually... kid 3, we feed him... and he looks up at us, a bit sheepish, super cute, and asks if he can have seconds yet.... then he licks the bowls clean when everyone is done. I think he is growing.
Nice update! (Well, as nice as can be.Gov Cuomo has been giving thousands in NYC the combo. No it's not scientifically proven study, and they haven't said for fact that it has helped, but still giving it. The death rate still pretty bad, but leveled out and dropping. And most of them been on ventilators for weeks. The hospitalizations have dropped off to pre covid levels, people are in and out not staying. They didn't even use any of the temporary hospital setups, or tents, and only put I think 15 people on that military hospital ship that had a thousand beds.
