Two nights of unusual deep freeze weather here which did in what was to be a banner apricot crop. My little green marbles have shriveled and are leaving the tree in rapid numbers. I covered the tender lettuce beds but left the beets, radishes, kohlrabi, bok choi and kale beds naked. All appear to be thriving. Phew! Today I may get a late crop of peas in. In two weeks I'll plant the corn. Kind of a tossed calendar of veggies this year.
The cold fronts have moved through and we now return to our regularly scheduled temperatures. Low 70's climbing to the high 70's by the end of the week.
