The Old Folks Home

Okay, well since y’all are experienced I thought I may ask your for your opinions.

I am an older person and wise in the way of knowledge......so, I bought some “pullets” that were on sale at tractor supply. I have no idea what breed they are. They are all aggressive to each other. I have been watching them and they all run around and bow up to each other and have staring contests. Some have waddles, some don’t.
I have little experience with chickens......so in my great wisdom......I think they are great, but, I’m not sure what I got myself into.

I bought some other smaller chicks that I know what they are, but had to separate from the rowdy bunch.

How long have you had the oldest chicks?
Do you know how to post a picture here so we can see the “pullets” in question?

Hi @LynninTN welcome to BYC and welcome to the Home! Sure you are welcome. Pull up a rocker, grab a cup of coffee or a glass of sweet tea and sit a spell with us golden oldies!

It would really help if you would post some pics of your babies. Many a practiced eye here when it comes to IDing chicken breeds.

As for where this thread is going. Surprise! It's like an episode of Seinfeld. It never goes anywhere and is mostly about nothing.

Well, no, not so much the last part. We talk about the challenges of being shall we say, a bit long in the tooth, life, our chickens and we offer one another support and a virtual shoulder to lean on when the need arises.

It’s been almost 4 weeks. I will post pictures as best I can.

I really do appreciate the help. I’ve been in the dog business a long time. Show me a dog and I can guess the breed, mixes are harder but I usually get close.
