The Old Folks Home

DW got a call from the Manager. All tests negative. Now she can stop wearing a mask in the house other than eating, sleeping and showering. So "Someone" managed to not pass on the virus which is good.

I'm still  they didn't stay home like they should have and put everyone through this. Two people decided to play it safe and not get eggs last week, DW missed her every other week massage today because we didn't have the info by this morning. She also didn't take her every other Wed RA shot last week since it shouldn't be used if you are sick.
Disruption of your life... yes sucks..

But very nice that the virus didn't spread

At least not in DW's work environment. Who knows who all was exposed outside work or at the spouse's work location. I know nothing about where that is or what sort of work.

Very true!! And some families have crooked sides a lot closer up! 😂🤣🙈
Are you trying to tell us something?? ;)

The first time I saw a Poo-pourri commercial, I was literally doubled over laughing, with tears streaming down my eyes.
OK, I had to look that up. There are advantages to not having any TV service ;)

"Spritz the Bowl Before You Go and Leave the Toilet Smelling Better Than When You Found it."

Great, they have found yet another way to "cover up" stink with yet another stink.

Hi IttyBitty, welcome to the home!

My husband did that to himself only with a crowbar while trying to tear down a wall. He broke two front teeth, split his lip. He was pretty sad looking until they could get the teeth fixed.

@ronott1, good news on the negative results. My hat goes off to her for all she is doing to keep her family safe and still working.
I laugh about it now, when it happened I was mad and whipped my head up to make sure no one saw that.
I'm REALLY lucky I didn't fully break my jaw or need stitches, as I can't get them.

We use it. It works as long as the water level in your toilet bowl is sufficient to completely cover the poop (sorry if that's explicit). Some water-saver toilets don't have enough water in the bowl to do this.

All the Poo-pourri does is put an oily sheen on the water so the odor of the poop doesn't escape. Honestly with two people sharing a bathroom in a small house it does a good job at stopping someone's "bathroom adventures" from stinking up the rest of the house!

The lavender fragrance isn't strong BUT I can see how it could still be aggravating to someone with a chemical sensitivity. I have asthma and lots of fragrances bug me, including aerosol "shitris" (combined citrus + sh*t aromas) bathroom sprays, but fortunately this one does not. We don't use a ton of it, though.

I wonder if maybe some olive oil and lemon (or peppermint or whatever you like) essential oil mixed together might have the same effect of "capturing" the poop odor? That might work better for someone with chemical sensitivities.
