The Old Folks Home

what a cutie :love. Would that make it a roodle? :D
I think they call them Groodles in the U.K.
In the US they are Goldendoodles.
We had a golden retriever years ago that was the best dog ever. We put off getting another dog because of travel to see children and parents. Now we wanted one that offered the temperament of the Golden but less hair. Our SIL is mildly allergic so wanted a dog we could bring on visits to see DD and grandkids and be okay for him.
We just got her, 7 weeks old, and so farshe is meeting all expectations.

I hate dentists so much. Only ones I like are in West TN. Hubby says it's too far to drive for a dentist. Well, maybe we need a plane!
I was terrified of dentists until into my middle teens. I'd had thrush as an infant and wound up with damaged baby teeth. the dentist who worked on them liked to do it without anesthetic. Imagine being 5 years old and going through that. With the dentist bawling you out for not holding still.

We also lived with a rural well when I was older meaning no fluoride in the water. Between that and my fear of dentists when I was finally talked into going to a new dentist I had 32 cavities. I can still remember the number.

The dentist was a gentle giant of a man who's father my dad used to transport in his cab. One day he told the dentist/son about me and my fear of dentists and why. He suggested they try and talk me into coming and seeing him. He would never treat any patient the way I had been treated and promised to be gentle and compassionate. I finally agreed and he was everything he promised to be. I still remember him pulling one tooth that he couldn't save. It crumbled when he put the extractor on it. He stood back, chuckled and said 'Open up Becky, I haven't had one whip me yet!' I was laughing at that point but that man got the tooth out and got me over my fears of dentists.

Look around, Cap, ask questions. There should be a dental referral place you could call with your local dental association who could refer you to a dentist that specializes in people with well founded fears of dentists. There are good ones out there.
