The Old Folks Home

One heck of a storm just blew in. I don't mind the daily late afternoon showers, that last from a half hour, to a couple hours. They cool things off, without causing any standing water. I don't really mind the occasional storms, except the results on the pool. It's hard to maintain a steady chlorine setting, when so much fresh water is being added, then it doesn't rain a few days, so it's too high. When it storms like this, I don't even bother with the settings. I just toss a couple big tablets in the skimmer basket.

I've read this about Ivermectin before. I thought it was interesting that it was coming out of Australia also instead of wherever.

Wouldn't it be interesting though if something this simple was the answer?

In my own personal dealing with Lyme, I read that the spirochete, Borrelia burgdorferi has an almost parasitical characteristic where it can encapsulate itself and become cystic in nature. That is why most Lyme proficient doctors keep people on antibiotics for long periods of time. The cysts have cycles where they burst, so they can literally go into hiding when they sense antibiotics around them. The cysts can rupture on a monthly cycle or there are herbal remedies that sufferers use to get them to burst. So long term antibiotics are able to kill the spirochete as they re-emerge from their cystic state.

The question that pops into my mind is are they telling us straight about this? Yeah, I know and no, I am not a conspiracy theorist, just like our generation used to say, don't trust the government all that far. What if this isn't a virus? Or what if it is a virus with a parasitical characteristic similar to Borrelia burgdorferi bacteria?

If the Australian research is spot on, and IF Ivermectin is one of the drugs in the arsenal of weapons that can be used against the virus, there may be something that either has been missed or we are not hearing about.

Time will tell and yes, @penny1960 I agree with you 100%. DO NOT SELF MEDICATE! under any condition. All of this reminded me that I need to treat my birds for parasites and just looked on Amazon for liquid Ivermectin that I use. It's doubled in price.

Evidently, there are those out there who are not leary about self medicating.:th

Lyme is caused by a spirochete same family of organism that causes syphilis. I don't understand how antibiotics can impact a virus. Ivermectin ? a vermicide, again not certain how that could work against a virus. The zinc - yeah maybe as it does appear to have efficacy against other coronaviruses. I'm with you penny - not discounting anything, but would like to see more information.
I posted on a different thread about ivermectin. I read a couple of months ago that ivemectin does not work for covid. It is likely from that group that promotes bleach as a cur for everything

In less than 10 minutes, our yard is flooded. Don't worry, it won't stay that way. We have a great drainage system. The power has flickered, but has come back on, so far.
Now the floods have started too!

Has anyone checked on the Yellowstone super volcano recently?

It works under lab conditions, when applied directly to a Covid sample, in a petri dish. Like many other things, that does not mean it work in the body. They may not be able to administer a high enough dosage to people, to replicate what happened in the petri dish. There are other factors too. It's like high oxygen with cancer. High oxygen kills cancer under lab conditions. The problem is, to saturate a living being with that much oxygen, will kill them.

Again, it's not about speed, but enough bandwidth for everyone. Dd #1 is doing most of her college courses online. 2 of the grands will be doing virtual classrooms. Dh, and I use a good deal of bandwidth as well. We have a neighbor, that is tied into our internet too. That's why he was concerned about the bandwidth, and upgraded.
