Just keep telling yourself Al that you can pick your friends, you can even pick your enemies but you are stuck with your family.

Which is why I live 5 hours from mine and DH's is even farther away.

But as far as the quarantine is concerned, stand your ground. Your health depends on it. Family or not it is your home and your home your rules. And there are always hotels.

Yeah.. she is staying in a house next door to mine... so yeah, nothing I can do to make her stay home...

She will just go and infect and potentially kill all of my friends and neighbors.

I have already fussed at her.. tried a few different tactics... all failed...

So... I can kill her, tie her down, lock her up, or get her attested or committed. Truly, no other options here.

How stringent are your Covid rules up there? Any chance you could turn her into the health dept and let her become their problem?

Organic chemistry and physics labs are in person as is one lecture. Math classes and other lectures are virtual - for now.

Her sister who is somewhat immunocompromised has one class in person and all others virtual.
