The Old Folks Home

Chicka, The first time, it took about 18 days for me. The key is to keep resting a few days after you feel better, or it will knock you back on your keister. Everyone else got better in 10 - 12 days, but I have a compromised immune system, so it took me a bit longer. The second time, we were all over it by about the 4th. day. Like I said, it was a breeze compared to the first time.

Thanks Clue.
I started feeling bad again last night and still this morning.
And dh is still feeling pretty bad.
I don't guess we will be over this in time for my surgery date on the 27th.
I guess I will have to reschedule it.

Dh has relapsed. :( sigh

Clue how long were ya'll sick? Today is the 14th day of quarantine for dh.

I still feel better. Dd #2 is bring us a few things in a little bit. She will leave them on the porch.

I have decided if we are well enough to go to B'ham I am going to go ahead and have the surgery. I pray dh does get over this before Tuesday.
Your DH tested positive for covid?

For the 10% that go to the hospital, it can take weeks with long term symptoms that last longer.

I am hoping for the best!

I'm in York Pa- covid 19 numbers here are skyrocketing. The local hospital won't allow visitors anymore. Husband has had kidney stone battles w/ER visits the last couple months.Among other infections. It goes with his health problems. He has one again he's having a problem passing. If he has to go to ER I'm prepaid to drive farther. When Drs are so busy it's good to have family there to see what's happening. He's avoided repeat MRIs if I follow what's happening... He gets to sick to care
