penny -- Glad to hear the second Shingrix is more tolerable. The first one really felt like someone whacked my arm with a bat. "Your arm will be sore" was an understatement in extremis.

Third day of cold and gray here. Such a change! Tomorrow supposed to be back in the 80's, though. I suppose I should take advantage of the weather and get the coop stripping chore done...at least with the coolness it won't feel like total Hell.

This weather makes me want to crawl back into bed and be cozy warm and dozy.

Oh heck ya first who had that bat hit me also guess they got both of us .. now last night felt like crap flu like crap but this morning I am alright now .. Last time I had a flu shot spent 24 hours praying to ralph Imagine that will be the same

The way your shot feels depends a lot on who administers it. If they give it to you straight out of the fridge, the cold liquid makes your muscle spasm. If it is warmed to room or body temperature, it shouldn't hurt.

We had frost this morning... what about you?

It's 91 degrees out, and scattered showers today. We've already had a couple showers, which cooled things off a little, but awhile after the showers, the temp climbs again. No frost in sight yet.
