The Old Folks Home

I love 'Cowboys & Aliens'. I'm also hooked on TEOTWAWKI/dystopian books that I find on Kindle and download.

We watched Terminator: Dark Fate tonight. Not bad, not my favorite Terminator movie but Arnold had some great one liners so it was fun to watch.

@CapricornFarm, I would be surprised if it was the opposite, my friend. How are you feeling these days?
Haven't seen the new Terminator yet, looking forward to it. The first dystopian book I ever read still my fave is Alas, Babylon by Pat Frank 1959. I read it in seventh grade so I read it 1987ish. Not a very long book but very good read it again few yrs ago.
Newest one I've read I'll have to find it tomorrow still have the book somewhere, don't remember the name and can't find it google. It was a good one.
Have you watched 'Colony' ? Was on USA network I watched it on Netflix. Only three seasons but IMHO super good series. Has one of the dudes from tv series Lost on it (Josh Holloway) as main character.

I don't think I mentioned it here but DW met Suzanne "Crazy Eyes" Warren from Orange Is the New Black (I've never watched it) when DW was working at our local Dollar General. She was a customer that came in many times DW didn't recognize her because she didn't look anything like on the show someone that was also working there recognized her and asked. Uzo Aduba, she wasn't happy about it was hoping to keep anonymous living here. I think she found out she is nobody cares here, we've had a few celebrities live here.

Alas Babylon is one of my all time favorite books. One Second After is another favorite of mine. While the first deals with the after effects of a nuclear war, the second deals with survival after an EMP.

No, I haven't seen Colony. No satellite No netflix. I'll have to see if it is on Prime.

Dogs were raising merry H*E*double hockey sticks tonight. Just going Ape Carp crazy. We let Buck and Spot out and they were going nuts. Just running around the yard carrying on like somebody had stolen the last box of dog biscuits from them. We couldn't get the cattle dogs to settle down. Finally fed them and bedded them down for the night but Buck and Spot were under the back porch just going psycho. Got my flashlight and went out. Yep, big old possum under the steps looking stupid as only a possum can and no good way to put a bullet into it since it was wedged between the steps and the house. We came in and decided to let stupid make himself scarce. I told my husband that if it was going after the dog's food it was going to have a rude awakening, either by the hot wire or by the dogs in the morning.
