The Old Folks Home

I vacuumed the house again, then got the heavy vacuum out, and did all the big outdoor mats. It was long overdue on the ones outside. For the tile floors, I don't have to use a heavy vacuum, so I tend to do it often. For the entryway carpet runner mats, I drag out the heavy Hoover. It does a great job, but as I said, it's heavy, so I tend to put it off. Now, everyone won't be tracking in as much dirt, sand, dead grass, etc. in on their feet/shoes.

I have been working on cleaning up the Garage today. I work on it a bit each morning and am making progress.

Mother-in-law's phone is shot. Dh headed to the phone store. He was going to get me the newest phone, then take mine (only 5 months old) for himself, and let her have his (Galaxy S8). I really didn't want a new phone. I wanted him to have the new one, mainly because he's the one that does all the picture/video taking, and the cameras in the new S20's are really excellent. Since he got the Otter case for it, they had an offer that 2 purchases, and they'd give a free wireless charger. He got a wireless charger, and they gave him another one free. One for him, and one for me.

I've seen the wireless chargers, but had never really given them much though. The ones he got, are suppose to be 40% faster than all the other wireless chargers. All I know is, I plugged it in, set my phone on it, and it's going to town charging my phone. It has a pretty light, so you know it's charging. Yes you CAN teach an old dog new tricks.

Family request....

This is a school project... the kids need likes...

If any of you'll could watch and like, better yet share with your friends, that would be great.

Thanks.

Very nicely done great for the lot of you damn it is cold here

Had a great trip there. Bit of a surprise when we got there. I figured no tour buses (generally there are 20 or 30) I was right about that, but never figured on the individual visitors. Cars from the entire East coast and Ohio and WV. Parking lots were more full than I have ever seen them. People were just looking for something to do and figured this mostly outdoor place was worth a visit. The B & B in the area must be doing a great business. All were masked and behaving like adults. We got our jellies and jams, some cookies and apple dumplings, two artworks by Ray Hendershot, and an Amish made corner cabinet - to be picked up when it is completed. Ride home was a breeze. Generally there is a massive traffic pile up in the Philadelphia area - not tonight. Lots of folks must still be working from home.

Dh is trying to redo his older phone for his mom, and get his own new phone all configured. Let's just say, he's not having fun now. NOW you know the real reason I did not want to get the new phone. Sneaky, huh? I hate setting up, and configuring a new cell phone.
Setting up my youngest DDs phone at the end of summer was easy compared to when I setup my phone last time.
That one was hard because I was setting up a phone from Amazon

Can you believe that they are actually allowed to use this kind of language on NOAA weather?
