The Old Folks Home

When the old hens (senior women - me included) ride our township bus - we must have a mask ON and worn properly. One old goat has hers down below her nose. She is also the one who never gets any shots, always is coughing and snorting through the winter and says she never gets sick. SMH *

BTW the driver checks our temperature before we can board the bus. Plus has extra masks for those that forget (or are just collecting them- yep the old
goat.)

* she wears the mask properly as she gets on the bus, then lets it drop once she is seated and out of sight.

Almost all of my care providers utilize a web based program called My Chart. Everything from doctor's visits, medications, lab results, test results, etc., are logged, and coordinated there, and I can access it all.

In July, my doctor renewed my chemo meds. One of the meds I take, is Ibrance. When the doctor orders medications, there is an office person named Eileen that is responsible for handling the orders. I've been calling on a fairly regular basis since July, to try to get my Ibrance. They keep reassuring me that it's been ordered, but the specialty pharmacy that handles my Ibrance, assures me they've heard nothing. In fact, their requests for a renewed prescription have been denied. I call the doctor's office again, get assurances it's been ordered, then get told by the specialty pharmacy they've again been denied. It's been a vicious circle since July.

The day before yesterday, I called the doctor's office, and was told it had been ordered, BUT this time they assured me it had been updated in My Chart to reflect the order. Yesterday, I called, and no it had not. I called my insurance provider to make sure the specialty pharmacy was still a listed provider in good standing. Yes, they're still the provider for that medication.

I went in on My Chart, because the person at the doctor's office said she updated the info. I discovered she was sending the prescription for Ibrance to the WRONG pharmacy. I went to the "Request A Refill" section. Yes, the information there was correct. I clicked to request a refill, then did it again for good measure. I called to speak with Eileen today. She was on the other line, so she couldn't talk to me, but told the nurse that she got the request, and realized she had been sending the Ibrance order, to the wrong pharmacy. She assured me it would be fixed, and taken care of. I'll know tomorrow.

I found vitamin supplements were what oomphed the egg color in mine.
(Omega Egg Maker by Manna Pro added to their chopped salad along with a little Calf Manna)
Manna Pro Egg Maker
"Ingredients. Corn Distillers Dried Grains With Solubles, Wheat Middlings, Flaxseed Meal, Corn, Corn Gluten Meal, Dehydrated Alfalfa Meal, Yeast Culture, Algae Meal, Tagetes (Astec Marigold) Meal And Extract, Paprika, L-Lysine, Dl-Methionine, Etc."

It likely isn't the vitamin supplements giving the much darker yolk color.

She assured me it would be fixed, and taken care of. I'll know tomorrow.
You've been REALLY REALLY patient! I bet you are also somewhat  and understandably so.
