Morning folks, supposed to be going to grocery store IF dispatcher didn't forget to put my name down - frequent occurrence. His Xmas gift will hang in the balance. Thirteen years of riding the same bus with same dispatcher

Used to be a bus driver and had many short term jobs given to him due to his "friendship" with a senator.

I've been busy disassembling and cleaning one of the coops, and moving it to the most sheltered / covered area I've got, in preparation for AI lockdown on Monday; two to go. Quite funny to watch the hens assembling at dusk where it used to be Before it got dark I managed to tempt 4 individuals round to the new location and a nice clean coop

that brings back memories! There is a fantastic collection of them in the Deutsche Museum in Berlin, if memory serves. An amazing range of different solutions were tried before it settled down to QWERTY on a square-ish box.

Yep and yep! It USED to be you knew when kids were talking to friends. Now the friends just show up at the house, invited via text by the kid but not necessarily with parental knowledge.

I still have a tween and 2 teens at home, and that does not fly for us. We've always set the expectation that having friends over is great, but you have to clear it first.
